- Copy the live string and paste it into the Pokémon GO search bar.
- Review the results in-game before you transfer or favorite anything.
How Pokémon GO search strings work
The search bar is a tiny query language. A word like shiny or water is a keyword. A number can be a Pokédex entry, a CP, or part of a range. Most phrases are case-insensitive and accept a short prefix.
Join required conditions with &. Join alternatives with a comma. Put ! directly in front of a phrase to hide matches. Ranges look like cp1500-2500, cp1500- for that value and up, or cp-1500 for that value and down.
Move searches start with @. Appraisal searches put a 0 to 4 bucket in front of attack, defense, or hp. Tags should use a # so they do not steal a built-in word.

Advanced Pokémon GO search tips
Commas sit inside ampersands. shiny&3*,4* is shiny and (3★ or 4★), not (shiny and 3★) or 4★.
A few words are secret ranges. mega means mega0-, count means count2-, dynamax means dynamax1-, and gigantamax means gigantamax1-. That is why @mega will not find Mega Horn and @count will not find Counter.
Distance without a dash is less than that number, so distance100 behaves like distance-100. The builder writes the dashed form so the range is obvious.
Pokédex search is a different box. It does not accept &, commas, or !. It matches names anywhere in the word, and a number has to be exact.
Need CP math after you find a keeper? Open the CP calculator. Planning a trade? Use the Trade Calculator. Track backgrounds in Collections or list extras on the trade feed.
Syntax checked against community notes on Pokémon GO Hub and SearchPhrases. PoGoPit cannot see your game account and cannot promise what will appear in your box. PoGoPit is not affiliated with Niantic, Nintendo, Scopely, or The Pokémon Company.
